my first post

Intro

Welcome, in this blog I will learn and evolve my writing, which I am bad at, and try to give advice and information to whoever is reading this. However, I don’t think my advice might be the most useful to someone not in late high school to senior undergrad. I do hope that I can form a community where others also post their advice and experiences through the comments. I then hope my other blogs are best for you.

So, I would first like to address my motivation behind this project, where I fall in my journey, and what topics I would like to focus on.

Why did I start?

Having gone through the process of applying to both internships and graduate programs as a first-generation student. I know the struggles of getting the information that you need to start is hard to find and thus would like to be a resource to help others further their academic years. Additionally, to the not advice side, I wanted a way to travel as well as just blog about certain interests.

Where in my journey am I?

Short answer: Currently, I am not sure I am trying to figure it out.

Longer answer I recently graduated with my undergraduate in Mathematics and was thinking of going into a master’s program in physics related to doing quantum computing research. However, I decided not to because of the cost and decided to look for positions to gain more coding skills. So, I am currently trying to figure out what I would like to do in the future.

Topics I would like to focus on

I would like to first talk about internships, graduate applications, and college applications, as well as what I did during undergrad and why I made the decision that I did.

Additionally, I would also like to talk about different locations that I visit, maybe travel advice once, and just other interests that I might have and would like to share with the internet.
